The Account Manager, Commercial Sales will be responsible for building relationships and helping enterprises leverage C Spire’s arsenal of solutions into an IT strategy that helps them win the battle in their specific market. We provide voice, Internet, data, and cloud solutions to business and government accounts. All are clearly best‑class. With the full backing of our industry‑leading marketing department and the award‑winning IT teams, you’ll have all the tools you need to convert leads into long‑term allies.

Responsibilities What You Will Do

Prospecting, account acquisition, and account management.

Maximize income through business‑to‑business sales with growth‑oriented companies.

Foster collaborative and lasting relationships with the customers and communities we serve.

The sales process will include managing lead lists, networking, customer appointments, referrals, and door‑to‑door sales generation.

Meet or exceed assigned targets associated with sales productivity.

In Addition To That, We Require For Account Managers

Proven experience meeting or exceeding a sales quota.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).

For Senior Account Managers We Require

At least two years of proven experience in outside B2B sales, meeting or exceeding quota.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).

Proven experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.

We Will Give Special Consideration To Candidates Who Have

A four‑year college degree.

Outside B2B sales experience.

Proven experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work flexible hours Monday through Friday with flexible hours. Must be punctual and dependable. Must be able to work in the evenings and some holidays. Must be able to travel and work multiple locations across company footprint.
