Responsibilities and Expectations

Create and maintain a list of prospective customers, determining appropriate sales strategies, calling on customers, and following up with additional visits and correspondence.

Analyze and understand customer requirements.

Coordinate with technical specialists to develop proposals for complex customer modifications.

Present proposals and establish long-term customer relationships using company sales techniques, policies, and service center capabilities.

Consult with management on pricing, specifications, warranties, and service adaptations.

Have thorough knowledge of competition in the marketplace and competitive bid situations.

Qualifications and Competencies

Sharp analytical thinking and reasoning abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Ability to analyze and interpret data and take appropriate action.

Extremely detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize and maintain a high degree of organization.

Excellent time management.

Expected to generate sales potential and leads.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to travel as required.

Prefer 3+ years of selling experience with similar product applications, preferably in the rotating equipment industry.

Understanding of MRP system production experience.
