Outside Sales Representative – Tankless & Heat Pump Water Heater – Los Angeles Fast Home Services, a leading home services company, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative for our Los Angeles market specializing in tankless and heat pump water heaters. This role involves in‑home consultations, educating homeowners on water heating solutions, and closing sales while delivering a professional, high‑quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in‑home consultations to assess needs and recommend tankless and heat pump water heating solutions.

Provide expert product knowledge and demonstrate the value of energy‑efficient water heating systems.

Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, ensuring a professional and trustworthy experience.

Accurately prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts for prospective customers.

Meet or exceed regional sales goals and KPIs.

Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, leads, and sales activities in the company CRM system.

Collaborate with installation teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Stay informed of industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements in water heating systems.

Participate in regional sales meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.

Compensation

Base salary: $65,000 / On‑Target Earnings of $125,000

Performance‑based incentives with uncapped bonus potential; commission structure details will be discussed during interview.

Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement, depending on territory.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of direct‑to‑consumer in‑home sales experience, preferably in home services.

General knowledge of home plumbing systems and water heater installation processes.

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Professional appearance and demeanor with the ability to build trust and rapport with homeowners.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within assigned territory.

Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule based on customer appointments.

Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent tools).

Valid and active CA State Driver’s License with an insurable driving record; required to be 25+ years old, have 2+ years driving experience, and a good driving record.

Preferred

Experience selling tankless water heaters, heat pump water heaters, or other home energy systems.

Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to plumbing and water heating systems.
