Overview
We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and much more. Compensation and Benefits
Hourly wage: $10.00 to $14.00 per hour Commission: Up to 8% on transactions, with potential to earn additional on top of base pay Earned Wage Access: access to wages up to 50% up to seven times per payroll cycle, starting on the 2nd day of employment Performance pay: unlimited commission above hourly base rate Health, dental, vision, life, supplemental and other voluntary options (eligibility required) Paid time off: 1 week after 6 months; 2 weeks after 1 year; 2 weeks on each anniversary thereafter; up to 120 hours after 5 years (adjusted for local requirements) 8 hours sick/comp time after 6 months; 16 hours per anniversary (years 2-5); 24 hours after 5 years Employee discounts from day one Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per year Access to over 10,000 discounts via FirstCash Perks Auto-enrollment in 401(k) after 6 months Access to FirstCash Pet Insurance Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply Position Summary

The role involves greeting and engaging with customers, assisting with sales and loans, processing transactions, handling cash, and maintaining the sales floor. This is a representative list of duties and may not be all-inclusive; duties may be assigned as needed. The role offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Responsibilities
Greets and engages with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions Performs non-management open/close procedures Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Handles cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies Answers incoming calls per company standards Explains the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; demonstrates teamwork Partners with staff to create a positive and memorable customer experience Completes required training Other related duties as assigned Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds Must be willing to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods, including repetitive motions Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified (where applicable) May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products Minimum age 18 High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform basic math calculations; cash handling experience preferred Ability to work across multiple locations as needed Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and standard office equipment Equal Opportunity Employer
