A Snapshot of Your Day: As Sales Manager for Small Steam Turbines, you will drive sales growth and market expansion across the USA, building and maintaining strong, long‑term relationships with customers and business partners. You will leverage your expertise in small steam turbines and demonstrate resilience in a dynamic, competitive environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Execute sales activities, pricing, and negotiation to ensure successful order intake boosting growth of the small steam turbines business in USA, focusing on both mechanical drive and power generation applications.
Lead and coordinate with business partners (“boots on the ground”) to reach all possible markets visiting customers and developing new opportunities.
Assess customer needs directly to the ultimate purchaser or indirectly through business partners and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.
Build, maintain, and strengthen long‑term relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Respond effectively to customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
Work closely with internal proposal, engineering, factories, and commercial teams to deliver high‑quality bids, according to customers’ needs.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar engineering degree.
Extensive sales related experience (8+ years preferred) working with EPCs, OEMs and Business Partners in steam turbines, turbomachinery, or related industries. Knowledge of North American market for small steam turbines is a plus. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
Proven track record in sales growth, customer relationship management, and market development.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; resilience and adaptability in a fast‑paced, competitive market; fluency in English required, Spanish would be a plus.
Willingness to travel extensively within the U.S and occasionally internationally (up to or exceeding 40%).
