Location : This is a remote position. Candidates should reside in the Gulf region (excluding Florida) of the United States.

Overview:

Klinger Thermoseal, a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-end sealing solutions, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business through customer acquisition and existing business development opportunities. The position will regularly travel to existing customer and prospective customer locations within the assigned sales territory: Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. This position will also manage the day-to-day sales process, oversee existing customer relationships, lead presentations, and close sales for all KLINGER Thermoseal products.

Key Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager will meet or exceed sales goals and objectives in the assigned territory through direct selling efforts, training, and management

Maintain direct contact with customer accounts in the geographic area of assigned responsibility and monitor customer satisfaction, industry trends & competitive product offerings, strategies, and activities

Drive sales opportunities and engage and assist customers throughout the sales cycle

Develop business opportunities by using strategic sales tactics

Track and report sales activities

Qualifications

Candidate must have a minimum of 5-10 years of industrial and OEM sales experience in a direct, outside sales position

Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales growth – preferably in the gasket sealing solutions industry

Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills

Experience in territory sales forecasting

Energetic, assertive, and able to communicate at all levels within an organization

Technical aptitude and knowledge of reading engineered drawings or blueprints

Ability to plan and prioritize while handling multiple projects or tasks

Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Willing to travel 60% with a portion being overnights

Possess a valid driver’s license
