About the Role Ryan Transportation and Shamrock are looking for a Carrier Sales Representative to establish and manage a network of truckload and LTL providers across the U.S. and Canada. The role focuses on prospecting, cold‑calling and qualifying new carrier accounts, bringing a sales personality that is self‑motivated, outgoing, ambitious and dynamic.

What You’ll Do

Solicit new carriers to join our carrier network

Develop long‑term relationships with shippers and carriers

Build and manage existing carrier network to meet the needs of shipping customers

Continuously improve customer service, transit times and transportation costs

Coordinate logistics activity, including scheduling arrival dates and delivery appointments

Track and trace orders for each load in our system and complete all load‑related paperwork

Actively participate in transportation bids for current and prospective clients

Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field (preferred)

Demonstrated success in a proactive sales environment

Strong relationship building and negotiation skills

Excellent customer service and problem‑solving skills

Detail oriented with analytical and technical skills

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment

Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to cross‑sell services across all brands

Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
