Oncology Sales is a dedicated organization inside Guardant Health focused on the commercialization of the Guardant 360 and Reveal portfolio. This team is committed to bringing our early to advanced-stage cancer tests to market quickly to serve the patient population who can benefit from our advanced analytics and proprietary testing. About the Role: This position offers an opportunity to join the growing Oncology Sales commercial team at Guardant Health as an experienced, field-based Account Executive. You will work closely with sales leadership to develop market sales strategies and expand business within Oncology healthcare providers and offices. Your responsibilities will include promoting our liquid biopsy products and identifying new opportunities to build relationships with healthcare practices, cancer centers, IDNs, and academic medical centers within your territory. You will need to act with urgency, drive, and passion to deliver top-tier oncology diagnostic products and services for cancer patients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Drive strategic business expansion and collaboration opportunities with major U.S. cancer centers, clinics, top oncology practices, KOLs, and AMCs within your territory. Develop detailed strategic plans to gain and retain clients. Maximize client-bill contracting opportunities and implement laboratory services agreements. Collaborate with sales team members to achieve company goals. Identify and develop partnerships with prospective oncology clients. Promote compliance with web-based molecular information tools. Analyze the competitive landscape and provide feedback to leadership. Monitor sales performance and develop comprehensive business plans including budgets and goals. Work effectively across departments and embody Guardant Health's company culture. Qualifications: 2-3 years of direct account management experience in molecular diagnostics with proven performance. 3-5 years of experience working with major cancer centers, oncology GPOs, large health systems, and practices. Demonstrated revenue generation in diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or biotech. Ability to provide integrated MolDx solutions using Guardant's sequencing technology. Strong consultative selling skills, including overcoming objections and engaging at the executive level. Knowledge of payor and reimbursement environments in oncology and diagnostics. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize effectively. Deep understanding of molecular diagnostics and the oncology landscape. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com. Willingness to travel frequently (>50%) within the territory. Education: B.S. in life sciences, biology, business, or marketing is preferred. The US base salary range for this full-time role is $138,400 to $186,840, excluding benefits, bonuses, commissions, or equity. Salary is determined by location, skills, experience, and education.
