Amplity is building its Caplyta® medical team to support the growing impact of its psychiatric portfolio. The Neuroscience Sales Specialist‑II will drive sales performance while embodying the company’s vision of improving patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

Drive sales performance within the assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers both in‑person and virtually, following compliance guidelines.

Effectively use the assigned budget to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in an ethical and compliant manner.

Maintain current understanding of the local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, and share this information with internal stakeholders.

Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region and identify programs/resources appropriate for each customer, practice, or system.

Work with the Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures all business objectives are met; capitalize on formulary approvals and other opportunities through strategic plan implementation.

Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and share best practices.

Accountable for timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.

Inform and build a business plan based on the depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources, and products.

Complete all company and job‑related training within the required timelines.

Job Requirements

2+ years of previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales; 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.

Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bi‑polar sales experience highly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record.

Strong desire and passion for improving patient and caregiver lives, with a patient‑centric mindset.

High integrity and adherence to the company’s compliance policies and procedures.

Self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, strong decision‑making judgment, teamwork, and cross‑functional skills.

Track record of success in learning and adapting to evolving environments, such as Covid‑19.

Agility to adapt to the changing telemedicine/virtual environment.

Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess progress, diagnose performance issues, and identify new opportunities.

Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.

Work hours may include meetings scheduled outside normal working hours.

Territories may require some overnight travel, depending on geography.

Domestic travel to corporate headquarters, training, and sales meetings will also be required on a periodic basis.

Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary Range $98,000 – $155,000 per year.
