Store Manager Essential Function
Provides an optimal customer experience utilizing our selling behaviors. Ensures all transactions are complete and accurate and the store is maintained to meet brand standards. Primary Duties
Brand (40%) : Bring customer experience to life by providing an optimal customer experience utilizing our selling behaviors and Company sales directives. Ensures all customer transactions are complete and accurate. Supports brand standards compliance in maintaining a good store appearance to provide a positive shopping experience. Aids in resolving customer service issues timely and skillfully. People (25%) : Collaborate effectively with others to support customer needs and store operations, including good attendance. Assist Store Manager with onboarding and training of new associates. Promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Operations (25%) : Record all sales accurately in the POS, handle monetary transactions, complete daily paperwork, and assist with shipment processing and housekeeping. Support with POGs and may open/close the store. Safety/Loss Prevention (10%) : Comply with safety and Loss Prevention policies, inventory control procedures, and HAZMAT regulations. Knowledge, Skills/Abilities, and Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years or older 1+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred Effective communication skills Ability to apply product knowledge to support customer service Ability to read and explain product labels Ability to follow directions and perform assigned duties Additional qualities include being a passionate learner, adaptable, a talent builder, an effective communicator, team-oriented, customer-focused, results-driven, strategic and big picture thinker, and a problem solver with good judgment. Nature and Extent of Controls
The position involves strict adherence to guidelines with some interpretation and development of guidelines as needed. Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
Requires physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, lifting moderately heavy items, and may involve working in various store environments with typical safety precautions. The area is adequately lit, heated, and ventilated.
