Rent-A-Container is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Portable Storage & Office Sales Representative to service our Charlotte, North Carolina market. This is a fully remote position with occasional travel. We’re looking for a self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment and contribute to a collaborative, customer-first culture.
Key Responsibilities Customer-Centric Sales Prioritize the customers’ needs and provide tailored solutions aligned with their goals. Build trust through active listening, transparency, and ethical conduct.
Sales Activity & Productivity Maintain a strong and consistent pipeline of qualified leads. Meet daily outbound activity expectations (calls/emails) as set by your manager. Attend all scheduled sales meetings, demos, and follow-ups on time.
CRM Management & Reporting Log all activities and customer interactions in the CRM accurately. Keep opportunities and contact records up to date. Submit weekly reports or updates as required by leadership. Coordinate closely with marketing, customer success, and operations to ensure smooth transitions and consistent messaging. Share customer feedback to help improve services, products, and internal processes.
Performance & Accountability Strive to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Seek coaching, tools, and resources to enhance performance. Own both successes and challenges with a proactive, growth-focused attitude.
Professional Conduct Represent Rent-A-Container professionally in all interactions. Maintain a positive, solutions-oriented attitude with customers and colleagues. Follow all company policies regarding confidentiality, pricing, and contracts.
Qualifications Required:
3+ years of experience in container sales. CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms). Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with the Orlando market is a plus.
