About the job Outside Sales Associate - Chinese Bilingual
Job Title: Outside Sales Associate Industry: Japanese Food and Beverage Distributor Location: Phoenix, Arizona Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 9AM-6PM Meets the monthly and annual sales quota as designated by the manager. Visits customers and potential customers to provide support, information, and sell Companiesproducts Cooperates with accounting department to assure the collection of payment in a timelymanner. Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and buildingrapport; resolves issues in a timely manner and escalates to the management as needed. Collaborates with purchasing departments, warehouse, and other involved parties to confirmthat orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributedproperly. Coordinates urgent deliveries with the customer to accommodate their needs. Travels to other locations to meet with clients as needed Educates customers on how the products or services can benefit them. Inputs and updates orders within the Company database in a timely manner. Maintains and safely navigates the Company vehicle as per the Company Vehicle Policy. Participates in the weekly sales meetings. Attends semiannual inventory count on designated day, possibly on a weekend. Attends Company events and functions outside of normal working hours. Performs other duties as assigned. Able to drive for a majority of the daily working hours. Able to travel within or outside of Arizona as needed. Able to talk, hear, walk, stand, smell, taste, reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 40 pounds occasionally. Able to use the phone for extended periods of time. Working Conditions -Noise Level: Normal to loud Location: Indoor in the office or at customer sites (restaurants, wholesalers,distributors, etc.), traveling Business level
English and Chinese bilingual is highly preferred. Maintains a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Maintains a positive attitude. Able to work independently and as a team. Able to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload. High school diploma required; AA and above strongly preferred. Experience in food industry, preferably in Japanese food industry is highly preferred, but not required. 【Knowledge and skills】 Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Possesses basic mathematical knowledge such as markups, discounts, counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc. Has strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Has strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates basic Microsoft Office proficiency. Knowledge of ERP systems, especially Microsoft NAV, highly preferred. Knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors strongly preferred. base $45,600.00-$58,000.00/year + commission + company car + gas card +Benefit package, including health, vision, dental, and 401K with company matching.
