A rapidly growing clean energy developer is seeking an experienced investment professional to lead financial modeling, underwriting, and market analysis across its portfolio. This role will play a central part in shaping investment decisions and supporting project financing efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, excellent commercial judgment, and experience with renewable energy assets.
Financial Modeling
Lead the creation and refinement of detailed financial models to support project financing, pricing strategies, acquisitions, and long-term portfolio planning.
Collaborate across Legal, Finance, and Development to maintain consistent, high-quality modeling standards and valuation approaches.
Project Underwriting
Define, manage, and update underwriting criteria across the project pipeline to reflect the organization’s investment strategy.
Oversee modeling and underwriting activities for solar and energy storage projects, incorporating technical, commercial, and market inputs.
Market Analysis
Evaluate market fundamentals and analyze forward curves to inform key assumptions within financial models.
Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership regarding market trends, financing opportunities, and capital deployment strategies.
Team Leadership
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on topics such as financial structuring, commercial negotiations, and market assessment.
Ensure strong communication and alignment across internal teams to support ongoing financing and commercial initiatives.
