Overview The ESPI Programs Division at EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is dedicated to delivering specialized insurance solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. As a Client Manager and team member, your primary mission will be to provide conscientious support to the clients and sales teams. Your strong professional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with your customer service oriented personality, will give you the tools necessary to lend support to your coworkers. Your pro-active nature, attention to detail and quality, and proven organizational skills, will provide the basis needed to initiate and work multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. A thorough understanding of MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint will be key as you maintain and initiate correspondence, manage projects, process documents and files, and assist with general office activities to ensure a smooth operation. Location:

This role requires a hybrid work schedule out of our Rancho Cordova, CA or Birmingham, AL office, 3 days a week in office.

Agent’s Insurance license

Comprehensive knowledge of insurance industry standards, policies and procedures

4-5 years experience specific to job duties

Written and verbal communication skills

Public speaking skills

Coaching and mentoring skills

Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office

Planning, prioritization and organizational skills

Strong time management skills including ability to manage multiple priorities

Goal oriented with the ability to meet deadlines

Ability to manage work from several sources

Ability to delegate work

SensE of urgency in meeting client and producer expectations

Attend mandatory internal training classes

Attend two classes per year towards the achievement of CIC, ARM, CRM, CPCU

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Act as client advocate at all times

Maintain positive relationship and excellent communication with client and co-workers

Serve as primary contact for client and respond to client’s needs

Assure the accurate and efficient delivery of client services

Actively manage client expectations

Mentor, Coach and train co-workers

Allocate and delegate work as necessary

Maintain account information and document communication in agency management system

Oversee File set-up

Prepare folders/binders for specifications, proposal or policies

Actively manage open activities

Request renewal information from client

Send applications to client for completion

Select markets in conjunction with producer(s) and Team Lead

Update loss information and prepare summary for renewals

Prepare applications and specifications for marketing assigned accounts

Create submission letters to accompany specifications

Analyze policy contracts for proposal

Negotiate pricing and coverage

Prepare and present proposal and summaries

Prepare premium summary and comparison on renewals

Correspond with Boards, Bureaus and other regulatory bodies (i.e. SPCB, DPR, DMV, PUC, WCIRB etc.)

Oversee issuance of binders, invoices and renewal documents

Calculate premium breakdown for clients and provide spreadsheet as requested

Review insurance policies to ensure coverage is as ordered

Answer client questions and help solve coverage related problems

Responsible for marketing of new and renewal business on behalf of prospects and clients

Assist in the solicitation of new business

Perform contract/lease review

Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

Provide indirect leadership to Assistant Client Managers

The national average salary for this role is $75,000 to $95,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
