About The Role As a Banana Republic stylist, you will help create aspirational and on-trend looks that enhance the customer's emotional connection to the brand. You will be an expert on styling and fashion, with a thorough understanding of designers, brands, and seasonal trends. Your goal is to foster a positive, inclusive environment that makes customers feel welcome and valued, contributing to business growth by providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
Draw inspiration from credible fashion references, including current style icons and influencers, and translate that into styling solutions for customers.
Engage authentically with customers to understand their styling needs.
Serve as a brand storyteller to create engaging experiences that drive sales and meet store goals, focusing on the customer.
Demonstrate our core values and behaviors.
Support an inclusive environment where customers and employees feel they belong.
Assist on the sales floor, fitting rooms, cash wrap, and back of house as needed.
Qualifications
Experience in styling within luxury fashion or strong knowledge of trends and designer brands.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build meaningful customer connections.
Flexibility to work shifts that meet business needs.
Ability to maneuver around the store and lift up to 30 lbs with or without accommodations.
Passion for fashion, styling, and hospitality.
Team-oriented attitude and alignment with Gap Inc. culture.
Curiosity and a proactive, can-do attitude.
