We are seeking a full‑time Catering Sales Manager to join our team at Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Tempe, AZ. The role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays. Job Summary
A Catering Sales Manager will serve guests across our hotel, building relationships and driving revenue by booking rooms, event spaces, catering, and related services. The position will deliver exceptional service and exceed guest expectations. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the face of the hotel for new and returning clients. Build lasting relationships and create memorable experiences. Drive revenue by booking rooms, event spaces, catering, and additional services. Ensure every detail exceeds guest expectations. Maintain strong partnerships and deliver results that meet and exceed revenue goals. Qualifications & Skills
Basic hotel product knowledge, including staffing, operations, safety, security, fire, health codes, and hotel policies. Basic knowledge of the hotel structure/layout and how all departments interact. Basic knowledge of various types of setup styles used in meeting rooms. Extensive market knowledge related to the meeting industry. Quantitative processing of data via office machine equipment, mathematical computations, and analytical skills necessary to accurately determine and communicate financial forecasting and space utilization. Proficiency with computer systems, navigating Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Marriott, and in‑house systems. Excellent communication skills in English. Professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Team player, willing to pitch in and assist co‑workers. Ability to listen attentively, solicit business, meet client needs, resolve complaints, and conduct site inspections. Required Skills & Abilities
Must have the ability to communicate in English, be self‑starting, maintain a professional appearance, communicate well with guests, be a team player, and effectively solve routine problems. Will be able to move throughout the hotel to conduct site inspections. Performance Standards
