Account Executive, Mid Market BILL is a fintech company focused on automating financial processes for businesses. We are looking for a high‑performing sales professional to join our growing sales team and drive revenue by qualifying, developing, and closing sales in Accounting and Wealth Management firms.

Your Role As an Account Executive, you will:

Achieve monthly revenue goals by engaging new firms, understanding their challenges, and aligning them with BILL’s solutions.

Qualify prospects, conduct product demos, and manage the sales pipeline in a high‑volume, high‑velocity environment.

Collaborate with internal teams to build a strong pipeline and close deals with CPAs, accounting firms, bookkeepers, and banking partners.

Develop long‑term sales strategies and consult clients on industry best practices and trends.

Qualifications

5+ years of proven sales track record in a high‑volume calling environment.

5+ years of software/SaaS inside sales experience.

Experience with proactive prospecting and building a strong pipeline.

Conducting sales presentations and product demos via web‑conferencing tools.

Experience selling to CPAs, accounting firms, bookkeepers, or banking (bonus).

Full understanding of the mid‑market sales process.

Experience in channel selling or FinTech preferred.

Sales experience at a tech company (required).

History of quota attainment and/or sales awards.

Strong consultative sales skills and ability to educate clients on BILL and industry trends.

Professional presence, confident communication, and ability to adapt the sales process to client roles.

Tech savvy with experience using SaaS applications and translating technical features into business concepts.

Forecast accuracy; maintain account and opportunity information within CRM.

Organized, multitasker with strong time‑management skills.

Team player with a sense of humor, humility, competitiveness, and collaboration.

Highly motivated, goal‑oriented, self‑starting individual with persistence and tenacity.

Compensation & Benefits The role is eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits. Salary ranges vary by geographic zone as follows:

Zone 1 – San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles County:

$159,300 — $196,200 USD

Zone 2 – CA (non‑Bay Area & Los Angeles County), Austin, TX, Massachusetts:

$143,400 — $172,100 USD

Zone 3 – Utah, Houston, TX, Florida, North Carolina:

$135,400 — $162,500 USD
