We are seeking an organized, proactive, and customer-focused Apartment Manager for a property in NE Salem. This role involves managing tenant relations, leasing, and ensuring smooth day-to-day property management. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high tenant satisfaction and property standards. Spanish speaking is required.
Responsibilities
Tenant Relations : Serve as the main contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests. Enforce lease agreements and community policies.
Leasing & Marketing : Advertise units, conduct property tours, process applications, and manage lease signings. Implement strategies to maintain high occupancy.
Maintenance : Oversee routine maintenance, landscaping, and repairs. Respond to emergencies and conduct property inspections.
Financial Management : Collect rent, maintain financial records, and assist with budgets.
Administrative Duties : Maintain organized records, prepare property performance reports, and ensure compliance with landlord-tenant laws.
Qualifications
Previous property management or leasing experience required.
Must reside within 30 minutes of Salem, OR (or be willing to commute).
Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
Familiarity with property management software (AppFolio preferred).
Knowledge of maintenance, landlord‑tenant law, and fair housing regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Spanish Speaking/Bilingual required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Reliable transportation for on‑call duties and inspections.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation & Benefits

Monday to Friday (typical work week), with weekends as needed.
