We are seeking an experienced and personable In-Home Sales Consultant specializing in siding renovations to join our team. This role involves meeting directly with homeowners in the South Bay Area to discuss their siding replacement needs, including premium options such as
James Hardie Siding ,
vinyl siding ,
LP SmartSide ,
Certainteed,
and
Craneboard siding . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of siding products and installation processes and the ability to deliver personalized, knowledgeable service to help customers make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
Travel to clients' homes within the South Bay Area to evaluate their siding replacement needs.
Conduct detailed consultations to understand customer requirements and preferences.
Educate homeowners on our siding solutions, including James Hardie Siding, vinyl siding, LP SmartSide, Certainteed, and Craneboard siding, and the benefits of each.
Perform assessments of the home’s exterior, take measurements, and provide estimates.
Develop tailored proposals that meet the specific needs of each homeowner.
Follow up with potential clients to answer any questions and close sales.
Maintain relationships with customers to generate referrals and repeat business.
Coordinate with the project management team to ensure smooth execution of services.
Keep detailed records of sales activity and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an in-home sales consultant or similar role, preferably in the siding or home improvement industry.
Strong understanding of siding products, including James Hardie Siding, vinyl siding, LP SmartSide, and Craneboard siding, as well as installation practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients.
High level of motivation and the drive to meet sales targets.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Comfortable with regular local travel to customer homes within the South Bay Area.

Excellent customer service and consulting skills.
Ability to assess client needs and recommend suitable solutions effectively.
