Account Executive - Stormwater Solutions
Base Salary: $75,000–$100,000 (negotiable)
On-Target Earnings: $200,000–$300,000+ (uncapped commissions)
Location: Southeast Michigan (field-based, covering Michigan & Northern Ohio)
Travel: ~25% overnight

They partner with engineers, distributors, and contractors to provide best-in‑class products for drainage, erosion control, and water infrastructure projects. Their mission is to deliver engineered solutions that enhance performance, compliance, and sustainability across public and private construction projects.
Position Summary Our client is seeking a motivated, results‑driven Stormwater Solutions Sales Representative to lead new business development across Michigan and Northern Ohio. This is a hunter‑style sales role focused on growing market share, building key relationships, and representing high‑performance products used in stormwater, drainage, and civil construction applications. The ideal candidate is technically minded, self‑motivated, and thrives in a fast‑paced, relationship‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a defined territory across Michigan and Northern Ohio; conduct regular client visits.
Identify, pursue, and close new business with contractors, distributors, and engineering firms.
Deliver effective product presentations and technical demonstrations to showcase solution value.
Track and manage opportunities through the CRM system; maintain accurate sales forecasts.
Build long‑term partnerships with key accounts to drive retention and repeat business.
Collaborate with internal teams to support bids, designs, and specifications.
Monitor industry trends, local regulations, and competitive activity.
Qualifications
Proven B2B sales experience in stormwater, drainage, site/civil, or construction materials preferred.
Strong technical aptitude with an ability to learn engineered product lines.
Hunter mindset – proactive, persistent, and customer‑focused.
Skilled in cold calling, relationship building, and territory management.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary $75,000–$100,000 (negotiable) + uncapped commissions.
OTE: $200,000–$300,000+.
$12,000 annual insurance company co‑pay.
