We’ve cracked medical billing for dermatology and are rapidly adding support for other specialties. Our Head of AI has 10+ years of research at MIT and Caltech, and our Head of Engineering was an early engineer at Figma.

Founding / Regional Sales Manager – Dermatology Responsibilities

Full‑Cycle SaaS Ownership: Own the entire sales lifecycle—cold prospecting private practices, running demos, negotiating contracts, and closing.

Revenue Cycle Consultative Selling: Diagnose financial leaks (denial rates, under‑coding) and prescribe our software, articulating ROI in terms of days in A/R and net collection ratio.

Market Feedback Loop: Relay customer feedback on payer rules, integration blockers, and feature requests to shape the roadmap.

Tech Stack

Sales & Pipeline: HubSpot/Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Dermatology Ecosystem: ModMed (EMA), Nextech, EzDerm

RCM & Billing Tools: Clearinghouses (Availity, Waystar), CPT/ICD‑10 coding tools

Environment: Remote‑first, Slack, Zoom, Notion

Work Approach

Ownership of processes: Ensure smooth handover to implementation for real financial lift.

Agile & iterative: Test new value propositions monthly based on market response.

Consistent customer engagement: Work with Practice Managers and Billers to understand workflow friction.

Requirements

3‑5+ years of Dermatology pharmaceutical sales experience with an active network of dermatologists and practice managers.

Proven territory access: Ability to bypass gatekeepers and secure meetings with decision makers.

Experience with “Hub” services or reimbursement (Prior Auths, Step Therapy, Buy‑and‑Bill).

Direct Dermatology experience: Familiarity with derm codes (Mohs surgery, biopsies, lesion destruction).

High‑volume activity metrics: Managing 6‑10 office visits/day and converting calls into demos.

Nice to have

Willingness to learn AI agents; tech‑savvy enough to pitch billing‑focused AI solutions.

Understanding of RCM pain points: Claim denials, J‑codes, co‑pay accumulators.

Experience launching new products: Part of a launch team for low‑awareness drugs or indications.
