Parts Sales Representative (PSR)

is responsible for calling on a blend of existing customers and developing new customers within a defined geographical territory by selling the Parts Department's Raymond Parts, DuraSource and RBI products, OTR products and services in accordance with established company prices and policies. Raymond West provides end-to-end warehouse solutions with expertise in lift trucks, racking, conveyor, dock and door, rentals, parts, and service. The goal is to keep customers’ businesses up and running. Responsibilities

Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from sales leads, business directories, regular meetings, and communication with CCM’s and Parts Sales staff. Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers; solicit orders or discuss on the sales floor or by phone. Display and/or demonstrate products using samples, catalogs, flyers, or product cut sheets; participate in product marketing plans. Quote prices and credit terms; prepare sales contracts and distribute credit applications when applicable. Estimate delivery dates based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules. Sell, maintain, and implement customer consignments and parts onsite programs; manage consignments inventory and restocking levels as directed by the Parts Inventory Control/Manager. Perform cold calls to solicit new business; target a minimum number of new prospective customers per month; follow up on calls and submit detailed call reports monthly. Maintain professionalism and comply with all company regulations and policies; foster long-term relationships with customers and prospects. Maintain security of sales literature, price lists, and related materials. Be willing to adapt to changes in sales quotas or targets as needed. Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, co-workers, and managers in other departments Willing to work off-hours as needed and take on additional responsibilities as required Ability to generate and respond to business leads in collaboration with technicians Education/Experience

High school diploma or GED; minimum 1 year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 1 year demonstrated selling skills Travel

50-60% (20-24 hours per week); must be able to be insured by Raymond West Physical Requirements

Position is non-sedentary with varying physical demands Specific vision abilities required; ability to lift up to 75 pounds Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, construction sites, and outdoor conditions Regular use of hands and fingers; ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed Compensation and Benefits
