Job Description Summary Responsible for sales and marketing efforts in a specified territory, growing top‑line revenue and margin of assigned therapies. Creates a territory sales plan and regularly assesses progress on opportunities using appropriate marketing materials.
Job Responsibilities
Research, develop and implement sales strategies for the assigned territory.
Present partnership opportunities to health system leaders, decision‑makers and referral sources to drive new business growth.
Prioritize accounts based on potential, referrals, profitability and service needs.
Create and update short‑and long‑term account plans and objectives; track activity toward objectives.
Communicate sales strategies to internal partners (Clinical Liaison and Branch staff).
Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customers succeed.
Initiate communication with Clinical Liaison to identify new opportunities and check progress toward goals.
Identify and build relationships with key customer decision makers.
Assess and document the competitive landscape within the account.
Partner with internal team members (Specialty Sales, Clinical Liaison, RSD, Nursing) for growth.
Convey and reinforce value proposition for each account and decision maker.
Adjust messaging based on customer relationship lifecycle.
Obtain a complete understanding of customer needs before offering a solution.
Leverage internal resources (GMs, first‑line managers, clinical staff, specialty sales, nursing) to address customer issues.
Manage time to prioritize business growth, partnering with other Option Care partners for service excellence.
Organize multiple work streams, internal partnerships and growth opportunities.
Supervisory Responsibilities No supervisory responsibilities.
Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales; or high school diploma with at least 5 years of sales experience.
Basic Qualifications
Experience applying Sales and Marketing principles for products and services.
Analytical skills: analyzing and reporting sales data, identifying trends and building improvement solutions.
Self‑direction: developing goals with minimal supervision and knowing when to escale issues.
Time‑management: prioritizing, organizing and tracking multiple projects.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
Basic Microsoft Word skills.
Basic Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
Travel Requirements Willing to travel at least 75% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical bachelor’s degree.
Infusion sales experience.
Pay Range $90,878.96 – $151,464.93
