Job Description The

Cardiothoracic Sales Representative

is responsible for achieving sales goals within their territory. They establish and maintain customer relations through communication and in-person appointments. The ideal candidate will have clinical experience in cardiothoracic procedures or at least 2 years of clinical case support. They will maintain expert knowledge of our product portfolio and spend most of their time driving CT and CT-based Biologics sales, consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding our implants and instruments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory, working with surgeons and healthcare professionals.

Build and maintain strong business relationships; develop and implement sales strategies.

Communicate with current and new customer accounts about product updates and educational programs.

Implement new sales plans and marketing strategies to meet/exceed objectives.

Cross-sell additional products and manage new product introductions.

Address problems at accounts and support compliance with laws and company policies.

Receive coaching and training; transfer knowledge to peers.

Maintain training in sales skills and product features.

Collect competitive data and stay current on industry trends.

Participate in sales and professional meetings outside of regular hours.

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.

Requirements Education and Experience

Minimum of 3+ years of orthopedic experience; cardiothoracic experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree.

Ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market.

Comfortable in open operating room environments.

Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology, and OR protocols.

Ability to learn technical information related to surgery.

Prior sales experience is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills

MS Office proficiency.

Ability to create effective business plans.

Strong communication and public speaking skills.

Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.

Self-confidence and competitive drive.

Ability to work independently and responsibly.

Compliance with all policies and regulations.

Tools and Equipment

Valid driver’s license and access to transportation.
