Summary The KAM II is a salesperson responsible for meeting sales quotas and expense budgets for assigned clients by managing sales programs, promotional spending, distribution levels, shelf placement and strategic planning initiatives. Our clients are manufacturers, vendors, or brands that have contracted Advantage as their sales force. Our customers are retailers, wholesalers, or distributors to whom we sell our clients' brands.

This teammate will collaborate with clients to develop strategic plans, work with retailer associates such as buyers, category managers, and replenishment managers on Headquarter calls, and implement the programs. The teammate will own the relationship with our clients, make decisions regarding the spending of our clients' trade funds, and sign, implement, and execute contracts on our clients' behalf.

Responsibilities The Company is one of North America's leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management, and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers, and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods.

Drive our clients' business at assigned customers by increasing distribution, growing sales dollars/units/share, and staying within spend limits.

Ensure retail/merchandising and basic eCommerce execution.

Achieve targeted income and expense budgets through promotional and marketing strategies.

Analyze trends, make recommendations, and identify growth opportunities.

Maintain strict control of promotional spending and maintain accurate accrual and bill‑back funds.

Meet or exceed client goals for sales, distribution, share, pricing, shelving, and promotional volume.

Launch strategies to pursue new opportunities and penetrate key retailer positions.

Implement retailer Headquarter calls, manage manufacturer marketing funds, update retail pricing guides, secure approved schematics, and ensure incremental sales through new product distribution.

Collaborate with category management to develop retailer presentations using SKU optimization, promotion analysis, and lift analysis.

Build and maintain effective client and retailer relationships to ensure customer access and client perspective.

Develop sales presentations and demonstrate strategic input pursuant to annual business plans and problem solving.

Communicate client goals, programs, price changes, and priorities.

Manage difficult situations, conflicts, and achieve effective outcomes.

Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 4–6 years of experience managing high‑value accounts and developing long‑term relationships with key retailers.

Travel and Driving Travel up to 20 % is essential.

Environmental & Physical Requirements Primarily an office environment; 66 %+ sitting, ability to hear phone, use computer, lift up to 10 lbs.
