$38,000 – $44,000
Qualifications
At least 1 year experience working with children and families.
Preferred minimum of associate degree in a related field and 2 years of experience. A bachelor’s degree in related human service field in psychology, addictions, social work, education, human services, social science or related field is strongly preferred.
Have lived experience as a parent or guardian is preferred.
Demonstrated ability in program implementation and organization.
Current and valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Responsibilities
Provide support to incarcerated individuals and their families through the implementation of evidence-based parenting programs, including Parenting Inside Out, Active Parenting, Active Parenting of Teens, and Strengthening Families
Becoming accredited in specific evidence-based family programming.
Must adhere to OASAS prevention guidelines with programming.
Foster effective parent-professional partnership and promote the practice of family-driven and youth-guided approaches.
Develop and provide community presentations as requested.
Will attend mandatory prevention and family programming trainings, workshops, and conferences.
Compile program data for local and state reporting requirements for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Assist in strategic planning and development and following work plan.
Assist with completion of programming related to the work plan.
Build collaborative partnerships with local, regional and state agencies.
Travel required within Oneida County.
Become familiar and well versed in community agencies and supportive services.
Perform other duties as requested.
