About the Role
We’re seeking an energetic and relationship-driven
Sales Executive
to promote and sell our
Fire Protection Testing and Maintenance
services to commercial facilities throughout the Nashville, TN area.
In this role, you’ll build strong partnerships with new and existing customers, identify safety and compliance needs, and deliver customized life‑safety solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives on independence, problem‑solving, and helping organizations protect what matters most.
What You’ll Do
Develop new business through prospecting, referrals, cold calls, and relationship‑based selling.
Maintain and grow existing customer relationships to ensure long‑term satisfaction and retention.
Analyze customer needs and develop service solutions tailored to each facility.
Prepare project estimates, proposals, and service agreements.
Coordinate project schedules, invoicing, and communication with internal teams and customers.
Maintain detailed sales activity records and submit reports in a timely manner.
Work independently to achieve sales goals and territory objectives.
Represent
State Systems, Inc.
with professionalism and integrity at all times.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience selling to
commercial or industrial facilities .
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop project estimates and professional proposals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Strong attention to detail and ability to understand
low‑voltage or fire protection systems .
Self‑motivated and able to work independently in the field.
Valid driver’s license with ability to travel regularly throughout Middle Tennessee.
