What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage and grow business relationships with top retail sellers through strategic communication and planning
Coach and train retail sellers on products, programs, services, and technologies to influence farmer decisions
Execute strategies using tools like the Account Plan and Farmer by Farmer Plan while monitoring progress
Communicate the total acre value proposition to top retailers, including brand strategies and digital technologies
Coordinate with local manufacturer representatives and manage discretionary seed trials
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a business-related field plus 2 years of industry or direct sales experience, or 7 years of equivalent experience
Strong understanding of the agricultural business and its key drivers
Exceptional written, verbal, and formal presentation skills
Ability to coach, mentor, and lead change effectively
Solid experience with Microsoft products, virtual collaboration tools, and CRM software (Salesforce)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in agricultural product and crop expertise
Proven track record in managing projects and driving productivity
Ability to adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced work environment
Experience making direct farm-gate calls and building relationships with farmers
