Director of Housing & Residence Life

**Minimal Qualifications:*** Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, or a related field.* Five or more years of progressive experience in university housing or residence life.* Proven leadership and supervision of housing operations and residential education programs.* Demonstrated experience with budget development, housing CRM implementation (e.g., StarRez, eRezLife), and emergency response.* Strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration, conflict resolution, and student advocacy.* Experience managing or transitioning from a P3 or third-party housing partnership.* Live-in professional or residence life experience.* Experience working in an urban, commuter-serving, or minority-serving institution.* Knowledge of risk management, FERPA, Title IX, ADA, and Clery Act compliance.* Experience with campus master planning and capital project development.University employees may be eligible for a variety of State of Illinois benefits.
