about the role OutSolve is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales – New Business to lead our growing team of Account Executives focused on net-new logo acquisition. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving new ARR growth, shaping go-to-market strategy, and building a world-class sales engine focused on mid-market and enterprise clients across North America.
The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader who thrives in a high-growth, PE-backed environment, balancing strategic vision with operational excellence. You’ll lead from the front—coaching AEs, driving activity discipline, and partnering across Marketing, RevOps, and our Consultants to continually refine and scale our new business motion.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives focused on acquiring new business across North America
Drive disciplined execution through activity management, pipeline coverage, and consistent attainment of revenue goals
Build and implement scalable sales processes and playbooks aligned with OutSolve’s growth objectives
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and RevOps to define and optimize go-to-market strategy, ICP, messaging, and campaign alignment
Maintain a strong understanding of OutSolve’s solutions, competitive landscape, and client pain points to position value effectively with CHRO and HR leadership buyers
Deliver accurate forecasts, clear performance insights, and proactive reporting to the CRO and executive team
Foster a high-performance, accountability-driven culture that celebrates achievement and continuous improvement
Collaborate with Client Success and Consulting leadership to ensure smooth client onboarding and retention post-sale
Represent OutSolve at key events and industry forums to build brand visibility and pipeline momentum (up to 10% travel)
Key Performance metrics
New ARR Growth:
Attainment of net-new revenue targets
Pipeline Coverage:
Maintenance of 3x pipeline relative to goal
Win Rate:
Conversion of qualified opportunities into closed business
Activity Performance:
Rep-level outreach, meeting, and conversion benchmarks
Forecast Accuracy:
Predictable and reliable delivery against plan
qualifications
10+ years of B2B sales experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing full-cycle AEs
Proven success leading teams selling into HR, with familiarity engaging CHRO and HR leadership buyers
Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and scale high-performing sales teams focused on new logo acquisition
Experience in SaaS, consulting, or compliance-driven professional services preferred
Strong business acumen, analytical rigor, and command of pipeline management and forecasting
Comfort operating in a high-growth, PE-backed environment with evolving systems and processes
Proficiency in modern sales tech stacks; HubSpot experience is a plus
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
