Play a key role in expanding access to conflict resolution, strengthening community partnerships, and empowering volunteers to make a difference. The mission of Empowered Pathways is to help people create self-directed solutions and move forward with their lives through education, advocacy, and empowerment. We’re seeking a collaborative, organized, and community-minded professional to lead program development and outreach for our Community Dispute Resolution Center (CDRC). In this role, you’ll build relationships across Central New York, strengthen our volunteer training program, and help bring mediation and conflict resolution services to more individuals, families, and schools. This position blends volunteer management, program coordination, training support, community engagement, and light specialized case management. Responsibilities
Lead program development initiatives for the CDRC, including building training materials, standardizing processes, and supporting new program offerings.
Manage volunteer engagement, including communication, in-service trainings, appreciation efforts, and scheduling support.
Develop and deliver outreach efforts forming relationships, alliances, and formal agreements (including MOUs) with schools, agencies, businesses, and community organizations.
Support training coordination, including in-services, continuing education opportunities, and training calendars.
Manage a small portfolio of specialty ADR cases, including Lemon Law, Special Education, Agricultural, and Hate & Bias matters (low volume with full training provided).
Collaborate with the Executive Director to advance agency initiatives, program goals, and community visibility.
Qualifications
Experience in program coordination, community outreach, education, human services, or related fields.
Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to groups.
Excellent organization, follow-through, and multitasking abilities.
A collaborative, relationship-centered approach to working with volunteers and community partners.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn agency systems.
A commitment to Empowered Pathways’ mission of empowerment, inclusion, and equitable access to services.
Curiosity, adaptability, and the desire to grow within a mission-driven organization.
Benefits
Salary: $45,000–$49,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
35-hour work week with remote Fridays after a 90-day probationary period.
