About the Role We're looking for a results‑driven Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team. This role will play a critical role in driving growth by proactively identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities. Ideal candidates have excellent communication skills, a passion for building relationships, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

What You'll Do

Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify potential clients through outbound calls, emails, social media, and networking.

Prospecting: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads by targeting specific industries, companies, and decision‑makers.

Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects to introduce products/services, understand their needs, and position solutions effectively.

Qualification: Assess potential opportunities by gathering information on budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT framework or similar).

Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and hand off qualified leads for further development.

CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities, conversations, and outcomes in the CRM system.

Performance Tracking: Meet or exceed weekly/monthly KPIs for outreach, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities generated.

Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine outreach strategies.

Preferred location: Lehi, UT and surrounding areas (Mapleton, Pleasant Grove, Provo, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, American Fork, Cedar Hills, Draper, South Jordan, Sandy, Riverton, Bluffdale, Orem). Remote applicants residing in Utah are welcome. We also prefer applicants near our physical locations in San Antonio, TX; Nashville, TN; or Vancouver, WA.

What You'll Need

1+ years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation (internships or entry‑level roles considered).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.

Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and resilient in the face of rejection.

Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and prospecting platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field (preferred).

Pay and OTE

The expected OTE can range up to $90,000 for this role. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.

Office Ally is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices in alignment with pay transparency laws. Compensation for this position may vary based on individual skills, experience, and location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance‑based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and other benefits. Actual compensation will be determined considering the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, and internal equity.

Pay Transparency $50,000—$90,000 USD
