Business Development Representative (German-speaking) EMEA

About ROLLER ROLLER is not your average software-as-a-service company. With a global presence in over 30 countries, our mission is to help businesses operate smoothly and create fun, memorable guest experiences by providing seamless ticketing, point‑of‑sale, self‑serve kiosks, memberships and digital waiver processes.

About the Role We’re seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) who is fluent in German, handles inbound and outbound leads, and helps grow our sales pipeline. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will be the front‑line connection with prospects, mastering the sales process and qualification, and setting our Account Executives up for success. This hybrid (in‑office/remote) position involves researching, initiating, and maintaining relationships, and capitalizing on every opportunity for growth.

What You’ll Do

Inbound and Outbound Prospecting:

Swiftly respond to inbound inquiries, reducing initial response time. Generate new business leads through outbound calls and emails.

Lead Qualification:

Qualify inbound and outbound leads through discovery calls. Understand prospect needs and pain points, articulating our product’s value proposition.

Pipeline Generation:

Drive urgency to progress prospects through the sales funnel. Collaborate with the sales team to meet company goals and targets.

Relationship Building and Event Representation:

Initiate meetings between prospects and Account Executives. Drive engagement and seize new business opportunities from events.

About You

You are based in London and thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing in‑office collaboration and remote productivity.

You are fluent in German and English.

While 1–2 years of BDR experience in B2B SaaS is a plus, we welcome candidates with potential, drive, and a passion for sales.

You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and are familiar with qualification frameworks such as MEDDICC or BANT. Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms is a big plus.

You possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and can build strong relationships with both clients and team members.

Your Qualities

Hard‑Working & Resilient:

You embrace challenges and persist through setbacks, turning obstacles into growth opportunities.

Creative & Intelligent:

You approach problems with a fresh perspective, bringing innovative ideas to solve complex issues.

Adaptable:

You thrive in fast‑paced environments, shifting gears when priorities change.

Coachable:

You are eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and quick to implement new strategies.

Positive & Collaborative Attitude:

You bring energy and enthusiasm, maintaining a positive mindset and collaboration even when things get tough.
