General Summary This position will work with the Athletic Director in overseeing the operations of an athletic department designed to enhance the physical, character, and intellectual development of participating student-athletes and will be responsible for aiding in the administration of all aspects of intercollegiate athletics, including but not limited to facility oversight, sport oversight, and event operations.

Operations & Programming Programming Oversight

Collection and execution of all needed training/medical forms within the designated software prior to a student-athletes competition in their sport

SID: oversight and direct report for sports information directors

Roster input in SID help

Academic and Athletic Award Nominations

Chi Alpha Sigma

Annual review and delivery of Student-Athlete Handbook

Annual review and delivery of Athletic Staff Handbook

Red Cross: communicate and work directly as liaison and mentor for the Red Cross student-athlete representative on campus

Student and fan engagement at sporting events: collaboration with student affairs

Oversee full-time coach in charge of SALT and help the students promote events on campus or volunteering within the community

Sport Oversight: assigned when hired

Site supervision oversight: assignment of events and contests for full-time staff

Ticketing service

Event nights

Organization of the process and work in collaboration with staff overseeing interns and student workers

NIL oversight and contact for our student-athletes

Facilities Operations

Camps: Operate the compliance and logistical planning of all Athletic Sports Camps; generate set goal amount for athletic department

Rentals: Operate the compliance and logistical planning of all Athletic Facility Rentals; generate set goal amount for athletic department

Post-season/facility

Certification through the NAIA

Planning and execution of post season competitive events: WHAC, ACHA, NAIA

Calendar set up and execution of all facility routine maintenance and scheduled upgrade planning – works directly with building and grounds

Schedule coordinator for the indoor track and Warrior Park (track, wrestling, golf, softball, rugby, archery)

Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Demonstrated time management and organizational skills

Ability to provide proper management of conflicts, stress, and issues of coaches, students, faculty, and administrators

Willingness to work evenings and weekend hours for campus events

Experience

Minimum two years’ successful experience within an athletics department

Knowledge of collegiate-level athletic guidelines, rules, regulations, and sports

Working Conditions Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Evening and weekend hours are required for campus events and various activities.
