Pay range is $15-$21 with your first THREE months of commission guaranteed! Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with occasional evening or weekend events.
What We Seek We are seeking people-oriented candidates to:
Sales and Customer Service
Represent the Carolina West Wireless brand, within local partner location, by actively engaging with customers to drive sales.
Focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences to generate sales.
Serve as a brand ambassador, creating enthusiasm for our products and services, building relationships through community events (festivals, fairs, school and sports events, parades), and regularly conducting outreach via calls and texts.
Works with the Store Leadership to ensure attainment of all sales and revenue goals including: gross sales, accessory sales, rate plan take rates, features and all other add on products.
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
Offer support, information, and guidance while assessing customers’ wireless needs.
Research and recommend new opportunities for renewals, upgrades, accessories and service improvements.
Resolve product and service issues by identifying the primary causes and selecting the best overall customer-focused solutions.
Assist customers, handle customer escalations and promote a positive customer experience.
Maintain customer confidentiality and protect the company by keeping all customer accounts and company information private.
Operations
Perform day-to-day store operations, including:
Opening and closing store tasks
Targeted sales achievement
Merchandising/promotional activities
Customer service and retention
Inventory management (receiving, transferring and shipping)
Cash handling, including daily cash reconciliations and bank deposits
Monitor adherence to customer fee schedules, processes, procedures and operations compliance pieces.
Maintain desired store appearance according to company standards.
Additional Duties
Responsibilities may include other duties and functions as assigned by management.
What You Bring to the Team
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, 2-year degree a plus
1 year required previous sales experience in a commission-based sales environment, preferably in wireless retail environment
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Outside of the box thinker
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Customer-focused attitude
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail store environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet)
Flexibility to work events in the evenings and weekends
Ability to meet physical requirements of bending, stooping, lifting, sitting, and standing. Ability to use computer/keyboard and general office equipment, and ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
