Lightning Digital, a division of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Inc., is seeking a Digital Performance Manager to lead high-impact digital campaigns from concept to completion. In this client-facing position, you will play a strategic and hands‑on role within the digital marketing team, partnering closely with Account Executives and Ad Operations to drive the success of our clients’ digital campaigns. You will guide Tier 1 campaigns and assigned accounts through the full lifecycle from pre‑sale planning and media strategy through flawless execution, ongoing performance optimization, and post‑campaign reporting. The ideal candidate is both analytical and relationship‑driven, with a deep understanding of digital media performance across digital display, video, audio, CTV/OTT, paid search, and social channels. As the primary day‑to‑day contact for Tier 1 accounts, this role is essential to the retention and growth of our top tier digital clients.

Key Responsibilities: Pre‑Sale Strategy & Collaboration: Partner with account executives during the pre‑sale process to develop data‑informed media plans, contribute to RFP responses, and forecast campaign performance based on historical benchmarks.

Campaign Execution & QA: Actively manage the day‑to‑day aspects of all assigned campaigns, maintaining account prioritization and delivering weekly status updates to key stakeholders. Collaborate with Ad Ops to ensure accurate trafficking, tag/pixel validation, targeting accuracy, and creative QA prior to launch.

Campaign Monitoring & Optimization: Oversee day‑to‑day campaign performance across channels, identifying optimization opportunities to improve KPIs and proactively communicating actionable insights to stakeholders.

Client Reporting & Communication: Lead regular client meetings and performance reviews (virtual and in‑person), turning complex data into strategic recommendations and clear, compelling stories.

Cross‑Functional Coordination: Serve as the bridge between sales, operations, analytics, and creative teams to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the campaign lifecycle.

Market & Platform Expertise: Stay current on platform updates, industry trends, and new tools to continuously improve campaign strategy and client outcomes.

Qualifications, Skills, and Characteristics Required:

3+ years of proven experience in client‑facing digital campaign management.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal stakeholders.

Proficient in digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, and experience with Paid Search, Programmatic, and Social campaigns.

Experience supporting the sales process of sophisticated digital campaigns.

Familiarity with pixel and tag placement via Google Tag Manager (GTM).

Impeccable organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Strong drive for continuous learning to keep up with the ever‑changing digital landscape.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

This is a hybrid position, typically 3+ days in office each week and is based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
