For more than 50 years, Washington County Mental Health Services (WCMHS) has served the Washington County community and the Orange County towns of Orange, Washington, and Williamstown. WCMHS provides education, support, and treatment for individuals and families living with mental health challenges, substance use issues, and developmental and intellectual disabilities. Community Skills Support Program This program is designed to provide children and youth up to 22 years of age with enriching opportunities to connect within their community. It offers individualized attention to help them achieve their prescribed treatment goals and objectives, fostering positive community experiences with the support of a Community Skills provider.

Community Skills Support is conducted mainly in community settings. Support providers maintain supervision while providing clear, consistent boundaries. Building trusting relationships with children is essential for successful treatment, helping them build on their strengths and develop strategies to address challenges.

Position Details This is a flexible, part-time hourly position, which may include afternoons, evenings, or weekends. Support is provided up to 20 hours per month, supplementing existing mental health or developmental services.

Compensation and Benefits This part-time/hourly position offers an hourly rate of $18.87 and excellent benefits. Regular part-time positions receive 12 days of vacation and 12 days of sick leave annually, prorated based on hours worked.
