Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The Assistant Property Manager will support leasing and marketing efforts, conduct periodic unit inspections, and assist with resident relations. A working knowledge of North Carolina landlord-tenant laws is preferred to ensure proper handling of lease compliance and tenant issues. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the property management operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and efficient property leasing processes. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of property management practices. Base pay range
$22.00/hr - $25.00/hr Location: Winston-Salem, NC Responsibilities
Touring and qualifying prospective residents Preparing lease agreements and renewals Responding to inquiries and maintaining leasing logs Conducting move-in, move-out, and periodic inspections Supporting marketing and outreach efforts Assisting with resident retention and communication Ensuring compliance with landlord-tenant laws Performing administrative and file management tasks Qualifications
Previous leasing or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with AppFolio is a plus Professional demeanor and ability to work independently Knowledge of legal administrative processes related to property leasing is beneficial. Sales experience is advantageous for effectively marketing properties. Understanding of contracts and legal aspects related to real estate will be considered an asset.
