We currently seeking a Property Manager for a Multifamily property in the Fort Myers, FL area. We are searching for an experienced professional with strong leadership skills and a positive attitude to manage our apartment community. Our goal, as the Property Manager, will be to ensure that our property residents live in a clean and safe environment. You should ensure efficient daily operations and meet financial objectives. JOB PURPOSE: As the Property Manager, the responsibilities are extensive and varied, however, you will primarily be accountable for the overall management of residential properties on behalf of the ownership and to the satisfaction of the tenant base. The principal challenge in the position is to manage the properties with efficient and cost-effective measures while exceeding tenant’s expectations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Prepare management plans, marketing plans, vendor contracts, and budgets Complete required reports, update operations manual, and ensure all compliance procedures and requirements are satisfied Review and sign all rental applications, compliance forms, and lease documents Inspect the property regularly Conduct annual unit inspections Report safety hazards, property damage, and needed repairs to maintenance staff Make recommendations and solicit bids for major physical repairs, replacements, and improvements Monitor purchases of routine supplies and materials Train, supervise, and develop on-site personnel Perform employee evaluations and make recommendations for salary increases and/or promotions Collect rents and control delinquency Serve legal documents and process and supervise all eviction proceedings Attend unlawful detainer and other court hearings when necessary Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Three (3) years of on-site experience as a Property Manager supervising subordinates or strong skills as an Assistant Property Manager preferred Experience driving sales through social media Experience leasing through social media Ability to solve problems with residents, personnel, finances, equipment failure, and emergencies while remaining calm, rational, and professional Computer literate, specifically MS Word, Excel (advanced level preferred), and Outlook for Windows Knowledge of Yardi, AppFolio, ResMan or Entrata software preferred Maintain a valid Driver’s License WE OFFER: Paid Holidays Advancement and learning opportunities Great teams and influential leadership A fun and challenging environment where you will be encouraged to grow Job Type:
