Tree Climber for Tree Service Crew

If you love working outdoors, know your way around a harness and a chainsaw, and take pride in safe, skilled work — we want to hear from you. This is a hands-on role for someone with climbing experience who's ready to lead by example, support the ground crew, and help us get jobs done right. Job Duties Climb and prune trees using ropes, harnesses, and climbing systems Safely remove limbs and trees using rigging techniques Use chainsaws and hand tools in the tree and on the ground Support or direct ground crew during removals and clean-up Set up and maintain a safe worksite, including ropes and gear Operate equipment such as chippers or aerial lifts (if qualified) Requirements Valid Drivers License Proven climbing experience in residential or commercial tree work Strong understanding of safe rigging, roping, and chainsaw operation Physically fit and comfortable working at heights Reliable, on time, and a team player with strong communication Must be 18 or older Preferred (but not required): Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus) Familiarity with ANSI pruning and safety standards First Aid/CPR certification ISA Certification or willingness to pursue
