Why this role matters Accurate models become safe, efficient installations. Join our Piping Division in Charlotte, NC to turn design intent into coordinated, constructible reality. We’re hiring at two levels: Senior BIM Engineer (lead coordination) and Entry-Level BIM Engineer (learn, contribute, grow).
What you’ll do
Create and maintain high-fidelity 3D piping models in Revit.
Produce fabrication-ready shop drawings aligned with field and prefabrication workflows.
Drive clash detection and multi-trade coordination to eliminate conflicts before installation.
Coach junior modelers and conduct quality reviews for accuracy and buildability.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to meet schedule and deliverables.
Skills you’ll use
BIM/mechanical piping design experience: 2–5 years.
Autodesk Revit fluency.
Bonus tools: Fabrication CADmep or Plant 3D.
Working knowledge of mechanical systems and fabrication processes.
Excellent communication and coordination with shop and field teams.
Local to Charlotte, NC (or willing to relocate).
