Parts Counter Sales Representative
Holt Truck Centers in Pflugerville, Texas is looking for a motivated Parts Counter Sales Representative. The hours are Mon‑Fri, 8 AM – 5 PM, with rotating on‑call after service. This position is responsible for communicating with customers in a positive, caring, and timely manner to enhance customer relations while maintaining accurate and efficient processing of all parts transactions. The role requires effective influencing and collaborative skills. On‑highway truck industry knowledge is preferred.
Responsibilities
Communicate with customers positively and promptly to enhance customer relations.
Process all parts transactions accurately and efficiently.
Utilize influencing and collaborative skills to solve customer issues.
Maintain detailed records and process transactions using the computerized parts management system.
Qualifications
Requires attention to detail and a willingness to provide legendary customer service.
Good multi‑tasking and interpersonal skills; interacts with other departments and vendors.
Minimum 5 years customer service experience; parts store experience highly desired.
At least 3 years computer experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Bi‑lingual in Spanish highly desired.
Valid driver’s license.
Must obtain forklift certification.
Experience with a computerized parts management system is highly desired.
Capable of lifting 50 lbs. or more multiple times a day.
Excellent attendance and work performance.
Self‑motivated with a high commitment to completing tasks promptly.
