Automotive Parts Retail Counter Salesperson
to our team.

Responsibilities
Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner, providing them with the information they need
Assist technicians, service advisors, and the sales department in identifying, locating, and obtaining the correct automotive parts for repairs or maintenance
Manage parts inventory, shop supplies, and maintain accurate records using inventory management systems
Process orders, receive and stock incoming parts, and ensure inventory is stocked in the correct location
Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner
Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date
Answer telephone calls promptly and provide professional service ensuring the customer’s needs are met
Inform customers of any current specials
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a solid understanding of automobiles to ensure efficient and accurate service for both internal and external GP1 employees.
Qualifications
Automotive parts department experience is preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Professional appearance and work ethic
Ability to work well in a process-driven environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
The pay for this position is $14.42 - $31.25/hr. based on experience.
