
Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day operations of a portfolio of approximately 8 coop and condominium buildings
Inspecting properties on a regular basis
Managing service workers, building staff, work orders, maintenance contracts and contractors
Preparing for and attending Board meetings as necessary (6-8 evening meetings per month)
Preparing for, managing, and attending Annual Meetings of Owners
Preparing and distributing memos, notices and other correspondence to residents, staff, and others
Follow-up with resident requests/work orders
Maintaining resident and operational files and documents
Processing and liaising with architect/engineer alteration applications
Interacting and cooperating with building attorneys, accountants, and other professionals
Facilitating capital projects and working with the hired professionals
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of NYC building codes, local laws, and general industry standards
Verifiable knowledge in managing large scale capital projects
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills a must
Must have superior customer service and organizational skills and be able to multi-task
Must be flexible and adaptable to changing environments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Office, Excel & Power Point)
Qualifications
3+ years of property management experience
Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
Knowledge of NYC building codes, local laws, and general industry standards
3-7 years of experience in property management
Must be located in commutable distance to New York, New York, United States
