Role Summary We are a rapidly growing manufacturer’s rep firm based in Florida that represents commercial HVAC products. We are currently seeking a Parts Counter Sales person responsible for processing customer orders and responding to customer inquiries. Must have attention to detail, be customer‑service oriented and work well with others. This position needs a self‑motivated team player who can be an active part of our team and seeks remedies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
Conduct sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone, by email, and over the counter.
Promptly identify parts and process quotes and orders for customers.
Actively make customers aware of product promotions.
May load and unload shipment of parts, supplies, and equipment.
Respond to customer inquiries, questions, or concerns regarding products or services.
Record inventory discrepancies.
Follow up with customers.
Determine the best method to resolve customer issues.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and our business partners.
Exhibit strong organizational and customer‑service skills.
Required Profile
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Computer skills are essential; HVAC parts background is preferred.
HVAC, mechanical contracting, engineering or construction industry experience is a plus.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate a computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance on stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
