Job Description: As a
Regional Manager , you will be responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of residential communities. Your duties include making decisions to maximize income and minimize expenses, overseeing financial budgeting and reporting, and managing marketing and leasing efforts for all properties in your portfolio. The
Regional Manager
reports to a Regional Vice President or a Vice President and is responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, and leading on-site professionals. Key responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; and resolving conflicts. Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee operations of properties to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Represent the company professionally with clients, employees, residents, and vendors. Assist with budget preparation, monitor monthly budget variances, and evaluate income and expenses. Provide capital improvement suggestions and ensure timely processing of invoices. Develop and manage on-site teams through recruitment, training, motivation, and coaching. Qualifications:
Previous experience as a regional manager in residential property management with supervisory experience. CPM designation is a plus but not required. College degree preferred. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and proof of insurance. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Skills and Knowledge:
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software such as Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, among others. Strong negotiating, sales, leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple projects and cope with stress professionally.
