Job Summary
Ilderton Auto is seeking a dedicated and skilled Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in High Point, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. As a Service Advisor, you will serve as a liaison between our customers and our technicians, providing estimates, recommendations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service process.
Responsibilities
Greet customers and obtain information about their vehicle’s service needs
Explain repair and maintenance options to customers and provide accurate estimates
Schedule appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services
Answer customer inquiries and provide updates on the status of their vehicle
Review vehicle issues and recommend necessary repairs to customers
Monitor service orders and ensure timely and accurate invoicing
Keep detailed records of service and repair history for all vehicles
Educate customers on preventative maintenance and service options to enhance their vehicle’s performance and longevity
Maintain a clean and organized service area to provide a professional and welcoming environment for customers
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in the automotive industry or as a Service Advisor preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of basic automotive systems and repairs
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in computer systems and software used for automotive service scheduling and invoicing
Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours based on business needs
