Job Responsibilities
Handle parts order requests via telephone, e-mail, or in-person Utilize manufacturer and vendor catalogs to locate parts for customers, internal and external Advise customers on related parts Follow up on backordered parts, and contact customer with status Ensure that inventory control practices are followed Communicate with Parts Manager on inventory issues Communicate with Service Department regarding parts availability and pricing Provide solutions for the needs of our customers Assist with other projects as needed Required Skills
High school diploma or GED Two (2) years of heavy truck/auto parts or shop experience Mechanical aptitude, desired Customer service skills Good written and verbal communication skills Employment details: Seniority level – Entry level; Employment type – Full-time; Job function – Sales and Business Development; Industries – Transportation/Trucking/Railroad.
