About the Role Kitsap Credit Union is searching for a Retail Growth Manager. This position is responsible to create, facilitate, and implement sales training through coaching, mentoring, and leading member facing staff to build relationships that uncover member product needs. This role will help Branch Operations employees improve skills and behaviors that reflect a service methodology and philosophy to create and foster a sales‑oriented culture for the Credit Union. This will increase member engagement, product usage, market share, and overall member experience.

$84,769.53 - $105,961.91 depending on experience

8% potential incentive of base pay

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver tools, sales aids, and processes to facilitate the acquisition, retention and cross‑selling to profitable member segments as defined in the strategic plan.

Provides sales expertise and actively works with management to clarify and define sales expectations and objectives that are aligned with overall credit union objectives.

Meets with managers and staff to develop personal goals to achieve established sales targets.

Performs ongoing individualized sales evaluations of staff performance, and works with managers to improve sales abilities and achievements.

Partners with Sales/Marketing Department to establish monthly contests based on current business needs.

Supports incentives for staff. Records and tracks results and coordinates payouts. Reports results to management with recommended enhancements as appropriate.

Develop and implements member outreach sales scripts based on current Sales/Marketing lead generations to contribute to a standardized Member Experience.

Meets with Retail Directors, VP Retail and VP of Sales, monthly to provide sales results, discuss barriers to success, and partners to make enhancements to achieve annual goals.

Facilitate bi‑monthly sales calls for Branch and Contact Center Management to address gaps in sales and service delivery.

Evaluates existing products and make recommendations for changes, enhancements, or additions to the Product Development Committee.

Oversees budget assigned to sales efforts.

Required Qualifications and Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, or comparable/equivalent experience.

3+ years of sales development/marketing experience in financial institution or similar organization with specific experience in sales‑driven culture.

3+ years of experience in a retail branch sales environment or equivalent experience is required.

Ability to translate and present data analytics and information to executive leadership team in a manner that is concise and understandable.

Must be registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) within 30 days of hire and comply with the SAFE Act regulations.

Experience designing, implementing, modeling, and tracking incentive plans aligned with business objectives.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data to inform decision‑making.

Ability to create clear, professional documentation and reports for diverse audiences.

Proven track record of success growing an organization through creation of sales training and implementation.

Understand, model, and represent KCU’s core values.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Episys, Meridian ink, and Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)

Prior experience implementing The Member Experience (TMA) methodology preferred.

Supervisory Status This position does not supervise others.

Working Conditions This position will be required to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, and, with or without reasonable accommodation is required:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a minimum of 75% of the time

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machines

The person in this position frequently communicates with peers, supervisors, vendors and employees to exchange accurate information and answer questions

Works in an indoor office environment but expected to attend meetings in buildings that require travel in outdoor weather conditions

Local travel up to 80% using personal vehicle
