
Account Manager - Exhibit Sales

We are seeking a leader in Trade Show and Exhibitor Technology Services. As an Account Executive the candidate manages the rentals of event technology for exhibits, conventions, and trade shows. Event technology includes: audiovisual, computer, lead retrieval, digital signage and other technology specifically for utilization by participants of events. This position requires an intimate knowledge of the Chicago region trade show and exhibition market as well as a significant book of business of trade show exhibitors and consumers in the area.
Responsibilities
Ability to develop and grow rentals of technology, equipment, and rental services specifically for utilization at trade shows
Intimate knowledge of the following: Client needs, booth builders, exhibit houses, meeting planners and associations
Ability to develop new clientele portfolios
Cold Calling for potential new clientele
Ability to travel
Must Obtain official technology supplier status
Ability to Identify and recommend potential new trade show verticals
Qualifications Required Skills
Ability to effectively communicate ideas and information in a professional business environment
Time Management Skills
Ability to prioritize and maintain exceptional organization skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Access.
Technical proficiency required to gather relevant data and facts
Ability to synthesize and apply the information
Outstanding communications skills
Ability to travel
Required Experience
3+ years of demonstrated professional sales experience, preferably in the trade show world.
Education: A College Degree is preferred
Intimate knowledge of the Chicago region trade show & exhibition market
